It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Jacobs, age 72, who passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2025.
David was a beloved husband of Ada (nee Gonzalez). Loving father of Benjamin (Jaime), Neal, the late Geary, and Goldie (Anthony) Vastag. Cherished grandfather of Jaxon, Jayson, Jayden, Brandon, Riley, Ryan, Parker and Wesley. Dear brother of the late Craig (the late Jane), Marc (the late Trudy), and Robin (Rick Kane) Jacobs. Fond uncle of Stacy (Melissa) Calvert, Brian (Elizabeth) Jacobs, Barry Jacobs, Elyssa (Simon) Welling, and Jayme (David) Sigman.
David found joy in playing pool and poker, taking a drive, working on computers, watching movies, and going out to eat.
David will be laid to rest with his son, Geary at Westlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, 7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge. Memorial service Friday, April 11th at 2:00PM. Inurnment to follow. Family and friends who will not attend the services can view the services live or any time after at www.lakeshorejewishfunerals.com. Arrangements by Lakeshore Jewish Funerals, 773-625-8621. The family will observe shiva at 12 Northfield Terrace Wheeling, IL 60090 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, April 11th.
