Ben Alvin Smith, 89, passed away quietly and peacefully Monday, Apr 15th. His wife of 67 years, Ottolyn, was right there with him as she always has been, holding his hand. He lived a full and beautiful life which included his three daughters, Aleen (David Lodge), Joann (William Miller) and Ellen (Charles Slattery), and his grandchildren AJ Lodge (Amanda), Robin Boberg (Brent), Brian Slattery (Talya) and Adira Slattery (Fen). For the past 2 years, he has been fortunate to have his caregiver, Michael, in his life. Donations in his memory may be made to either St Jude's Hospital (stjude.org) or Dare 2 Tri (dare2tri.org).
