Marjorie R. Shlaes (nee Plast), age 97. Beloved wife of the late Ben Shlaes for 74 years. Loving mother of Mark, Kerry (the late Susan Randall) and Richard. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Ilan) Huberman-Shlaes, Scott (Kelly Anderson) Shlaes, Eli (Tatiana Beal) Shlaes, Emma (Steven Schwink) Shlaes. Adored great-grandmother of Judah, Gabi, Sadie, Elis, Jude and Iris. She was a lover of art, music and theater. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Art Institute.
