Stephen Paige, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on June 8, 2025, in Highland Park, IL after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born on November 23, 1947, to Esther and Paul Paige in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from the University of Buffalo and Georgetown Law School, he began his career as an attorney at Winston and Strawn in Chicago. He ultimately became the general counsel of several companies over the years. Aside from work, Steve spent his time fishing, boating and biking. He was also an avid Cubs fan, second only to his original hometown team, the Brooklyn Dodgers. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. He leaves his devoted wife of 55 years, Deborah, and two children, Jeffrey (Nata) and Morgan (Ron) Sklar. In addition, he leaves four grandsons, Brandon, Evan, Clayton and Dylan Sklar, who he lovingly referred to as “the boys.” He is also survived by his sister, Karin (David) Strumwasser, his aunt Roz Lampert and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
