Debora Elaine Willage, PhD (nee Tepper), beloved wife of Dr. Marc for 53 years. Loving mother of Hannah and Barton Willage. Cherished nana of Mateo and Solomon. Dear sister of the late Arlen (the late Joan) and the late Michael (Buddi) Tepper.
Debora was born in Urbana, Illinois to the late Manie and Beatrice Tepper. She attended Ohio University in Athens, where she met Marc at a Hillel function. Debora completed her PhD at the University of Louisville and practiced clinical psychology for 37 years primarily in Madison, Indiana, where she was deeply impactful in the lives of her patients. Debora and Marc retired to Chicago in 2015 to be close to their adored grandchildren. Debora continued to serve others beyond her professional capacity through her valued leadership roles at Temple Sholom of Chicago, Jane Addams Senior Caucus and the Rotary Club. May her memory be for a blessing.
Memorial service 1:30PM, Monday, January 5 at Temple Sholom of Chicago, 3480 N Lake Shore Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Club of Chicago Financial District would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Lakeshore Jewish Funerals, 773-625-8621.
