Jerold “Jerry” Ruby, age 88, of Northbrook, beloved husband and best friend for 58 wonderful years to the late Sandra “Sandy” Ruby (nee Karpin); loving and devoted father of Scott (Heidi), Mark (Julia), Brian (Sharon Smithson), and Kevin (Ying) Ruby; adored papa of Alexa, Ben, Max, Jonathan, Michael, Gabrielle, Joshua, Olivia, and Lila; proud great-grandfather of Leo; dearest son of the late Irvin and Gertrude Ruby.
